HEALTHY RECIPES: CHOCOLATE CHIA PUDDING

Ingredients:

1/4th cup unsweetened cacao powder

3 tablespoons maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1+1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk

1/2 cup chia seeds

1/2 cup strawberries (or any other berries)

 

 

Preparation:

1. In a bowl mix cacao powder, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract and whisk until creamy

2. Add some milk to this and whisk until a paste is formed without any lumps. Then add the rest of the milk to this

3. Add chia seeds to this mix, stir and transfer to a serving bowl. Refrigerate this overnight or atleast 4-5 hours

4. Serve chilled with your choice of berry or any other toppings (nuts/coconut shavings/cream)

 

Note: If you want the consistency to be thicker, you can replace the milk with greek yoghurt or hung curd
