HEALTHY RECIPES: COCONUT LADDOOS

Ingredients:

2 cups coconut powder (chopped and blended)

3 tablespoon grated coconut

4 cardamom pods (ground them)

1 tablespoon gree

3 tablespoons jaggery powder

*Can add a pinch of condensed milk for deeper flavour

 

 

Preparation:

1. In a pan add jaggery powder and some water, bring to boil

2. In another pan heat the ghee, add powdered coconut and mix for 5 - 7 minutes on slow until the moisture evaporates

3. Add jaggery mix to this, followed by the cardamom pods and some salt. Mix until this becomes thick

4. Switch off the flame and let this cool

5. Make round laddoos, roll them each in the grated coconut once formed (you can grease your hands with ghee while forming the laddoos)

6. Store in an air tight container at room temperature or refrigerate.

 

Note - Consume within 5 days
